Joy Ranch provides residential care to boys and girls ages 5 to 17. Staff receive on-going training in order to better serve the children and the ministry.

All successful applicants will be subject to a criminal background check; a child protective services check; drug screening; the possession of or the ability to obtain an appropriate Virginia Driver's License; and have a good driving record. Applicants will be required to give a written testimony of their Christian faith.


Employee Benefits

Health Insurance 

Joy Ranch provides health insurance coverage through Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield. The ministry pays $225.00 toward the employee's coverage.  Dependent coverage is available.

Dental Insurance 

Joy Ranch provides dental insurance coverage through Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield. The ministry pays 100% of the premium including dependent coverage.

Life Insurance 

Joy Ranch provides life insurance coverage for the employee in the amount of $25,000, plus an Accidental Death and Dismemberment provision, through Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield. The ministry pays 100% of the premium.

Simple IRA 

Joy Ranch provides a Simple IRA after one year of employment whereby the ministry matches the employee's contribution up to 3% of salary.


PTO (Paid Time Off) Days

Paid Time Off Days for vacation, sickness, or personal needs are provided annually.
